TJ Hartman with Silva Motorsports - UPDATE - Worth the Wait!                                  

Knoxville, IA - August 16, 2009...

Shane Stewart drove the Silva Motorsports Probilt #57 sprint car to a 5th place finish in the rain delayed Knoxville Nationals.  Heavy rains washed out the finals Saturday night just as the B-main cars were getting ready to go.  The final two features were rescheduled for Sunday evening.  After starting 14th, Shane methodically worked his way forward and made the pass for 5th before time ran out on the 40 lap event.    

TJ will be writing his own report in the coming days describing life on the road with a sprint car team.  The Silva Motorsports team is flying TJ home on Monday so he can attend High School and College orientation.  We want to congratulate Shane and Paul and the entire Silva Motorsports team for a fantastic job over the past few weeks.  We also want to thank all of them for providing TJ with this experience of a lifetime.  It's not everyday you can get teamed up with a couple of guys who finish in the top 5 at the Knoxville Nationals!
